Cooking spray
1 (15-oz) can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 cup diced onion
1 garlic clove, minced
1 cup diced mushrooms
1 cup shredded carrots
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce
1 cup oatmeal
2 tsp. Montreal steak seasoning
1 unripe mango, peeled, seeded, and shredded
1 (9-oz) bag coleslaw mix
2 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar
1 Tbsp. olive oil

6largelettuce leaves


  1. Coat a large nonstick sauté pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. In a food processor, combine the cannellini beans, onion, garlic, mushrooms, carrots, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, oatmeal, and steak seasoning. Pulse several times, until the mixture is combined but not a paste.
  3. Divide the burger mixture into 6 equal portions and form each into a patty.
  4. Heat the prepared sauté pan over medium-high heat. Sauté the burgers on each side for 6 to 8 minutes. Set aside.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the slaw ingredients. Toss to coat.
  6. Add one burger to each lettuce leaf and top with 3/4 cup of the coleslaw mixture.
