1/4 cup loosely packed fresh dill, stems removed, chopped
3/4 cup loosely packed parsley leaves, stems removed, chopped
2 Tbsp. minced thyme
1/3 cup chopped chives
3/4 cup reduced-fat, light mayonnaise
1/2 cup low-fat buttermilk
1 to 2 Tbsp. cider or champagne vinegar
3/4 tsp. hot sauce
Sea salt and fresh-ground black pepper to taste


  1. In a food processor, combine the dill, parsley, thyme, and chives with the mayonnaise. Process until the herbs are chopped and are incorporated into the mayonnaise.
  2. With the processor still running, slowly pour in the buttermilk, and then add in the vinegar, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Process until combined. Adjust seasonings, if needed. Pour into a bottle. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
